Grand Master’s Message

Randy King – Welcome Remarks

My Dear Brethren, Friends, and Guests,

I am deeply humbled by the honor you have entrusted to me as I begin my service as Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Idaho for 2025–2026. To stand in this role is both a privilege and a profound responsibility, and I pledge to lead with humility, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the Craft.

This year, my theme is “The Future is Now!”.  It is both a reminder and a call to action. We are the beneficiaries of the choices and sacrifices of those who came before us—but now it is our turn to shape the future. Together, I invite you to reflect on and act upon a few key questions:

  • How can we make Masonry even more meaningful for the next generation?
  • How can we better serve our communities?
  • How can each of us live more fully by our principal tenets of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth?

Freemasonry in Idaho is strong because of you. We are a Brotherhood of men from all walks of life—farmers, ranchers, teachers, judges, craftsmen, businessmen, veterans, and so many others—united by a common philosophy and a shared desire to improve ourselves and the world around us.

Our history is deep and inspiring. The Grand Lodge of Idaho was formed in 1867, decades before Idaho became a state, and many of our lodges still meet in the same halls their founders built more than a century ago. We honor their legacy, but our work is not finished. The torch has been passed to us—and it is time to carry it forward with energy and vision.

If you are reading this as a Mason, I thank you for your faith, labor, and living by the three principal tenants of Freemasonry: BROTHERLY LOVE, RELIEF AND TRUTH. If you are not yet a Mason but are curious about our principles, I warmly invite you to explore the “How to Join” section on our website. You may find that the tenets of Freemasonry are exactly what you’ve been seeking.

I look forward to a year filled with lodge visits, fellowship, and shared accomplishments. The calendar is full, but my heart is even fuller—with gratitude, with excitement, and with confidence in what we will achieve together.

“The Future is Now!”, my Brethren. Let’s step into it boldly, together.

Fraternally,

Randy King
Most Worshipful Grand Master
Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Idaho
