Jeremy C. Vaughn

Brother Jeremy C. Vaughn was born in Rupert, Idaho on August 2, 1980. He attended schools in the Mini-Cassia Area, graduating from Minico High School. While in high school, he met and wooed Amanda, a past honored queen (and now majority member) of Bethel 39, Job’s Daughters International. He eventually convinced Amanda to date him. After they both graduated from the University of Idaho, they were married in 2002. Bro. Vaughn later graduated from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary in Virginia. After law school, they returned to Idaho. Today, Jeremy practices law in Twin Falls, while Amanda teaches at Jerome High School. Professionally, Jeremy is a member of the Idaho State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Fifth District Bar, the Magic Valley Estate Planning Council (officer), and the Theron W. Ward American Inn of Court (past president). In the community, he is a past member (Eagle Scout) and adult volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, a local board member for the United States Selective Service System, a member of the Idaho Code Commission, and the treasurer of the Southern Idaho Performing Arts Alliance.
Brother Vaughn was initiated, passed, and raised (February 3, 2007) in Caribou Lodge No. 84 in Soda Springs, Idaho, where he remains a member. A short time later, an employment change took them to Twin Falls and Jeremy affiliated with Twin Falls Lodge No. 45 in 2009, where he has served as Worshipful Master twice. He is also a Past Master of the Idaho Lodge of Research No. 1965 and the Idaho City Historic Lodge No. 1863. Brother Vaughn has served on several Grand Lodge Committees and was Grand Orator three times (2009-2010, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024) and District Deputy Grand Master of the 4th Masonic District twice (2018-2019 and 2019-2020). He was appointed Grand Pursuivant by M.W. Grand Master Rick Holloway in 2024, and currently serves as the Grand Marshal.
Companion Vaughn is a member of King Solomon Chapter No. 16, Royal Arch Masons (past high priest), Twin Falls Council No. 7, Cryptic Masons (past illustrious master), and Twin Falls Commandery No. 10 (past commander). He is a Past Grand Illustrious Master of the Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of Idaho (2019-2020), a Past Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Idaho (2020-2021) and a Past Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Idaho (2021-2022). SK Vaughn served as Northwest Department Commander for the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America for the 69th Triennium (2021-2024) and was elected a trustee at-large of the Knights Templar Eye Foundation in 2024 and invested with the Knight Grand Cross of the Temple by the Grand Encampment in 2024. He is also a member of the Pocatello Valley of the Scottish Rite where he was invested as a Knight Commander of the Court of Honour in 2023.
Jeremy is a member of a host of affiliated Masonic organizations, including: Star Garnet Council No. 560, Allied Masonic Degrees (Charter Master); Intermountain Chapel No. 27, St. Thomas of Acon (past worthy master, Past Provincial Grand Secretary, and currently Grand Secretary of the Grand Master’s Council of the USA); Idaho Priory No. 13, Knights of the York Cross of Honor (past prior; Personal Representative of District 24); El Korah Shrine; Tacobat Grotto; Redemption Tabernacle No. XL, HRAKTP (past preceptor); Idaho College, SRICF (IX°, Charter Secretary, and current Chief Adept of Idaho College); Tri-Valley York Rite College (past governor and OPC; Past Chairman of the Council of Associate Regents of the YRSCNA); St. Michael Conclave, Red Cross of Constantine (past sovereign); Knights of Tara Council No. 122, Knight Masons (Charter Member and past chief), and others.
Jeremy and Amanda are both members of Twin Falls Chapter No. 29, Order of the Eastern Star, and Garnet Court No. 5, Order of the Amaranth. Jeremy is a past associate bethel guardian of Bethel No. 43, Job’s Daughters International, and was privileged to serve as Associate Grand Guardian of Idaho for 2013-2014.
Outside of Masonry, Jeremy enjoys barbecue and grilling, and plays the worst game of golf you have ever seen.
