Richard L. Rowe 

Richard L Rowe was born on April 13, 1950, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Attended schools in Twin Falls, graduating from Twin Falls High School in 1969. Upon Graduation, entered the US Navy, he attended the Navel
Submarine School in New London, CT, then stationed on the USS Tang SS563 in Pearl Harbor, HI. Made deployments to Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Philippines, and Guam. Then served on the staff of the Commander Submarine Forces Pacific Fleet. Discharged in 1973 returned to Twin Falls and went to work for Gem State Welders Supply, where he has been for fifty two years as the service manager. He is a member of the American Legion, VFW, DAV, ISA-USA and U.S. Submarine Veterans Inc, currently serving as Base Secretary of Trout Base. Rick married Terry J. Klimes in 1973; they have two children and seven grandchildren.

Rick was raised in Twin Falls Lodge #45 in 1978 and has held every office serving as Worshipful Master in 1985, 1996, 2018 and 2019. Also served as DDGM 2000, 2001, 2004, and 2005. He joined Twin Falls York Rite Bodies in 1979 serving as High Priest of Twin Falls Chapter #15, Buhl Chapter #21, and King Solomon #16, Royal Arch Masons, a Past Illustrious Master of Twin Falls Council #7, Cryptic Masons; and a Past Commander of Twin Falls #10, Knights Templar. Rick is Past Sovereign of St Michael Conclave, Red Cross of Constantine; and Past Prior of Idaho Priory #13, Knights of the York Cross of Honor, Past Preceptor of Redemption Tabernacle No. XL, Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, Past Preceptor of Idaho Chapter of the Order of Knights Preceptor, Past Governor Tri-Valley York Rite College # 178; Past Worthy Master, Intermountain Chapel of the Commemorative Order of St, Thomas of Acon, Past Sovereign Master, Star Garnet Council No. 560 Allied Masonic Degrees. Rick is a recipient of the Knights of the York Cross of Honor, and the Ephraim Kirby Award, the Royal Arch Bronze Medal, and the Cryptic Masons Columbian Medal. Rick is a Past Patron of Twin Falls Chapter #29, Order of the Eastern Star, appointed Ambassador for El Korah Shrine. He is also a member of Order of the High Priesthood of Idaho; Thrice Illustrious Master Council in Idaho; Syringa Order, Order of the Sword of Bunker Hill.

Rick served the Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of Idaho, in 2007-08, as its Most Illustrious Grand Master, the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Idaho, as its Right Eminent Grand Commander 2013-14 and The Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of Idaho as Grand High Priest 2019-20. Presently serving a third term as Grand Historian of the Grand Lodge of Idaho AF&AM.
