District Deputy Grand Master’s Biography

John F. Lawicki – District 4

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1966 and spent much of my youth across the Midwest and East Coast, finally living in Southern California in my last year of highschool. After graduating from high school in Anaheim, California, I joined the United States Air Force, beginning a 22-year career in Law Enforcement and Security Forces. I retired with the rank of Master Sergeant.

During my Air Force service, I was stationed overseas several times, experiencing coup attempts, typhoons, terrorist attacks, and even a volcanic eruption. I also proudly served during the Iraq War. My military career brought me to Mountain Home, Idaho, in 1994, where I have lived ever since.

Following my retirement, I continued my service to the Air Force and am currently employed as a Training Instructor for the Security Forces Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

I petitioned Elmore Lodge No. 30 in November 2002 and was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in January 2003. Since that time, I have served in all the elective offices of the Lodge and have had the honor of serving as Worshipful Master five times. I am also active in several concordant bodies of the Masonic family and have worked closely with our Masonic youth groups.

I have been happily married to my wonderful wife, Kim, for 40 years. Together, we have two sons who have blessed us with four fantastic grandchildren.
