Justin L. Boyer

I currently serve as Junior Grand Deacon of the Grand Lodge of Idaho, having assumed this office in September 2025. I also serve Capital City Lodge No. 93 as Junior Warden.
I was initiated, passed, and raised in Hagerman Lodge No. 78 in April, May, and June of 1993. In 1996, I transferred my membership to Capital City Lodge No. 93, where I later served as Worshipful Master in 2016.
At the Grand Lodge level, I have been privileged to serve in several capacities. I was appointed Grand Orator in 2017 by Most Worshipful Brother Bill Curtis. From 2020 through 2022, I served as District Deputy Grand Master. In 2022, I was appointed by Most Worshipful Brother H. Sherman Burger III to join the Grand Lodge officer line as Grand Pursuivant, leading to my current office as Junior Grand Deacon. I have also served on several Grand Lodge committees since 2017.
I am active in the appendant bodies of Freemasonry and am a member of Boise Chapter No. 3, Royal Arch Masons, Idaho Council No. 1, Cryptic Masons, and El Korah Shrine. I am a 32° Mason and a Knight Commander of the Court of Honor (KCCH) in the Scottish Rite, Valley of Boise.
My Masonic journey began in 1988 when I joined the Order of DeMolay. I served as Master Councilor of Twin Falls Chapter in 1991 and later as Idaho State Master Councilor in 1994– 1995. Throughout my Masonic life, I have been strongly influenced by my father, Right Worshipful Brother John Boyer, the current Grand Lecturer of Idaho, who first introduced me to DeMolay and has remained an important guide and mentor in my Masonic journey. As a result, I am often known within Idaho Masonry as “John’s son.”
I was born in Gooding, Idaho, and grew up in Pocatello, later moving to Twin Falls, where I attended junior high and high school. I attended Boise State University.
Professionally, I have worked for Citi for over 30 years and currently serve as a Compliance Business Control Senior Analyst, assisting with internal and external process and regulatory compliance reviews.
I reside in Boise, Idaho, with my husband, Mark. Together, we enjoy traveling and exploring history, always making time for historic Masonic buildings around the world.
My passion for Freemasonry lies in its ability to bring together good men of every country, sect, and opinion, and to unite them in a common purpose that encourages personal growth and mutual respect.
